The Troon Concert & Walker Halls are adjacent to the Troon South Beach Esplanade, with its panoramic views across the Firth of Clyde to the Isle of Arran.
The facility is close to Troon Town Centre and has car parking for 80 vehicles plus other nearby parking areas. Troon is well served by public transport, being on the main Glasgow/Ayr rail line and only 10 minutes drive from Prestwick International Airport. For more details about this event visit the website.
FALKIRK WHEEL CRAFT FAIR
Sunday 27th April 2008 9:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Saturday 16th August 2008 9:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Come along for another great show at the Falkirk Wheel. View the wheel, have a coffee, relax in the new look restaurant and purchase some lovely gifts at the Craft Fair. With a variety of crafters including my own strawsilk glassware, jewellers, artists, knitwear, bags and scarves
CATRINE FESTIVAL 2008
Sunday 8th June 2008 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The event will be held in Catrine in Mill Street/Mill Square and at Catrine Voes. Various items have been arranged including a working sheepdog demonstration, pony rides, an archery demonstration/come and try and craft demonstrations. Examples of some of our stalls are BTCV Scotland, SAC, Kilmarnock College, Strathclyde Police, Yipworld and Walkers Cycles. The event is running in conjunction with our walking festival which will have a charity dog walk and River Ayr walk taking place on the Sunday.
KILBIRNIE CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL
Saturday 29th November 2008 - Radio City, Walker Hall & Community Hall
Opening Time - To Be Confirmed
This is the second annual event to be organised by the The Kilbirnie Town Management Iniative Committee and will feature a wide variety of crafts, ideal for Christmas gifts.
WEST KILBRIDE - CHRISTMAS 2008 ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR
Saturday 29th December 2008 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Sunday 30th December 2008 12 noon - 4 p.m.
This ever popular event takes place in the Village Hall. Admission to the event is FREE and the venue also provides a cafe and parking facilities. |
